*Under certain conditions (and with the authorisation from the person in charge of incoming students), an Erasmus student has the opportunity to carry out a research work on a specific subject in the field of his/her choice (economy, sociology, law, political science, international relations, management, etc...) during one semester and it is worth 4 credits.
At the beginning of the semester, the student will have to choose the subject in a list of proposals. The student and the promotor (or supervising professor) have first to agree on the choice of the subject.
The promotor will then give a few guidelines to the student : readings (a book or specialized articles), deadlines, number of pages, etc..
The student will then have to carry out his research work (fieldresearch - interviews - etc.).
At least twice during the semester, they will meet to discuss the progress of the research work.
Before the end of the semester, the student will have to write a paper between 12 and 20 pages according to the promotor’s guidelines including an appropriate bibliography, footnotes...
