Finding a place to live in Brussels is easy. The university itself offers ‘kots’ (i.e. individual rooms with shared facilities) and studios. In partnership with Xior Student Housing, Saint-Louis offers to rent to its students
141 rooms in the mixed student residence « Ommegang » located on the Saint-Louis campus.
The residence has 3 floors, each with about fifty furnished bedrooms, collective fully equipped kitchens and common sanitary fittings. It has a lounge, a terrace, a laundry room, a bikeroom and a caretaker.
There are four types of accommodation : room standard with washbasin, room standard + with washbasin, room premium with private sanitary fittings and studio with private sanitary fittings and small kitchen.
To apply for an accommodation for the academic year 2022-2023, the request form online below must be completed and submitted from March 26, 2022. The allocation of rooms is done by giving priority to some specific publics untill May 31, 2022. After this date, accommodation will be open to all and allocated in order of arrival of requests, as long as rooms are available. Accommodation allocation implies the (pre-)registration to the Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles.
Rents
Rents vary from 396€ to 628€ per month, depending on the size, the level of comfort, the housing equipment and services. The charges (water, heating, electricity, internet connection and cleaning of the common rooms) amount to 85€ a month. Deposit is equivalent to 1 month rent. The lease agreement is concluded for a period of 12 months.
Financial assistance
Financial assistance of maximum 90€ a month may be available for the student tenant at Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles depending on the family's economic and social circumtances. Please note that if you wish to apply you will be asked to provide supporting documents along with the assistance request form before October 31 of the current academic year. If you do qualify, the amount of assistance can be deducted from your accommodation rent.
