Working and studying at the same time: why not!
If you are a student and you are looking for a job then the university’s Student and Social Affairs Service (SAES) is the place to go. The SAES centralises job offers and requests and can advise you on Belgian employment legislation.
Within the university itself, there are a number of employment opportunities to suit different needs. You could opt for a job with regular hours, within the reprographics service, or in the library, for example.
Or you could help out from time to time with administrative work, such as mailing, or work in a student support.
If you’re interested, it’s a good idea to check in with the SAES at the start of the academic year via the intranet, and don’t forget to keep an eye on the display boards located around the university.
