Brussels, Saint-Louis and Sporting Recreation
There’s nothing easier than combining study with sporting recreation!
In Brussels you’ll find everything you need to practice your favourite sport regularly at a wide range of sports facilities. If you enjoy running you can work out at any of several superb parks including the Bois de Cambre and the Forêt de Soignes. Several fitness centres are also located near to the university.
You can find out what facilities are located near your university accommodation by following this link.
The Sports Commission of the Centre d’Action Universitaire (CAU) organises regular 11 and 5-a-side football and basketball competitions. From one year to the next, specific activities will vary depending on the initiatives of members. NB: one for the diary is the skiing trip, which is organised by the Skiing Commission, as a matter of tradition, following the January exam period.
And last but not least, why not consider an annual membership at the Woluwe Sports Centre (find out more here). Saint-Louis students are entitled to a special membership fee of 45 €. To become a member, just fill in the appropriate section on the university application form, which you can also find on your intranet page. Alternatively, you can get in touch with the Student and Social Affairs Service (SAES).
