Brussels, a multicultural city
Brussels, the multicultural capital of Belgium, and of Europe, is a great place to live. It is actually a mosaic of different ‘quartiers’, each with a very distinctive feel. With its diverse architectural styles, its history, its ambiance, and its vibrancy, Brussels is full of surprises and is always fascinating. It is a city that must truly be seen and explored; whether your taste is for exhibitions, for shows, for festivals, or just for seeing the sites, you will be spoilt for choice. And of course, when the sun is shining, there’s nothing quite like a stroll around its many restaurants and terraced bars and cafés.

Saint-Louis, a city university
Saint-Louis can be found opposite Botanique, a cultural centre located between Rue Royale and la Rue Neuve, not far from the Grand Place, and the De Brouckère and Bourse 'quartiers'. In other words, it is in the heart of Brussels’ historic centre where it enjoys all the benefits of a major cultural centre and where it can offer its students all the resources of a campus:
There are ‘kots’ (shared accommodation), studio or standard apartments available either in the vicinity of the university, or just a short trip away via public transport.
On the university’s doorstep you’ll find: the French-speaking Community’s of Belgium’s Multimedia Library, the Botanique cultural centre, a number of public and specialised libraries, city-centre theatres and cinemas, as well as swimming baths and fitness centres.
You’ll also find restaurants and city-centre shopping conveniently located nearby.
