The ‘Kots Project’ (Kots-à-Projets, KAP)

A kots project or KAP brings together several students to implement a group project. By organising events and actions as part of their project throughout the academic year, students can contribute to the social and cultural life on the campus.

Two types of project may be envisaged:

Group projects: examples of ongoing group projects include: KAPégal, KOTinental or KAPoxfam. These projects bring together students living in shared accommodation (known as a ‘kot’ in Belgium, hence the title) around an idea to promote or defend. More than just sharing the rent, students in group projects share values and work together towards a common goal.

Individual projects: examples of ongoing projects include: ‘l'Ecole des devoirs’, ‘à vontont'R’, ‘Silex’, or ‘Solidarité et Croix Rouge’, which are open to any Saint-Louis student wishing to get involved.
