On completing the "Grammar In Practice" Course Unit, BLOC1 students should be able to apply the morphosyntactic rules at the B2 European level (conjugate the most frequently used verbs in all tenses; apply rules pertaining to nouns, articles, adjectives, pronouns, & adverbs as well as compound, derivative, reflexive and impersonal verbs).

Course contents :
Morphosyntactic rules at European B2 level. Theory and exercises.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
Lecture, exercises, personal progress monitoring and learning guidance.
Assessment methods and criteria :
First Term: Summative evaluation comprising two compulsory written assessments, whose marks are added together. Each assessment counts for 50% of the overall marks. Module 1 has a value of 30%. A medical certificate is required in the event of absence. Second Term: Summative evaluation comprising a written exam in June. Module 2 has a value of 70%. A variety of questions addressing the different points studied during the course.
