Course contents :
Each student is required to examine a specific question from a common theme related to the Antiquity in the broad sense and defined by the teacher, in connection with his research.
The theme, its framework and its possible approaches are presented in the introduction. Lectures, discussions and visits to sites and institutions in connection with the theme provide inputs for the critical reflection of the student and help him/her to produce a personal scientific work.
An introduction to epigraphy is integrated in the seminar.
