Language study grants

Any student from Saint-Louis University can apply for a grant for language studies abroad or - only for Dutch - in Belgium.

Any student can apply for a scholarship for a language course as such, i.e. a programme to improve general language skills. However, for students in the second and third year of their bachelor's degree, it is advisable to apply for a grant to take a course in their specialty or a related major. Priority will be given to students who have not yet been able to benefit from a language grant.

There is no minimum duration for stays. However, it is advisable to stay for at least three weeks, except for special cases or programmes.

The grant amount

The amount of the scholarship will be equal to half of the total cost of the stay excluding transport and food, which does not exceed 500 €.
