Lisa Waddington is a recognised expert in disability law and discrimination law and is considered a pioneer in Europe. As a professor at Maastricht University, she is involved in several international networks and is a regular visiting scholar at prestigious universities abroad.
On Tuesday, May 16, 2023 Université Saint-Louis Bruxelles will host the official conferral of a Doctorate Honoris Causa to professor Waddington.
In order to facilitate accessibility, the lecture will be broadcast live and translated into French-speaking Belgian sign language in the auditorium where it will be held.
The award ceremony will be followed by a reception.
