The Council of the Institute for European Studies
The Faculty Council is the Institute’s most powerful decision-making institution. It evaluates the courses, lectures and academic programmes on offer and defines the general academic and research direction and priorities of the IES.
The Faculty Council meets twice a year and is composed of the entire teaching, research and administrative staff of the IES. Students from both postgraduate courses are also represented and hold 20% of Council votes.
