The Management Board

The Management Board comprises 28 members representing academic authorities, as well as the different categories of staff that make up the wider university staff community (academic, research and teaching support, administration, and students*) as well as the different Faculties, and the Institute for European Studies.

The Management Board, which is presided by the Chancellor, is responsible for determining the University’s general strategy. It draws up guidelines for University teaching, research and services to society. It also determines the University’s different regulations and the status of the members of the different categories of personnel that make up the University community.

The Management Board elects the Vice-Chancellor.

The Management Board meets at least once a year.

*Membership of the Management Board is based on the provisions set out in the decree of 21 September 2012 on student participation and representation in higher education.
