Axe 6 - Political Economy and Social Cohesion

This research theme focuses into the economic integration process of the European Union and its social impact by studying three specific issues:

the economic relations between the centre and the periphery of the European continent;

the degree of social cohesion, the economic and technological convergence between member states;

the fiscal and social competition between Members States and the tensions that they generate within the EU.
