Exchange Programmes

The Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles, has concluded exchange agreements with universities located outside of the French-speaking Community of Belgium.

These agreements enable you to undertake part of your BA at a partner university, while remaining enrolled as a Saint-Louis student.

In exchange, students of partner universities are able to undertake part of their studies at Saint-Louis.

Saint-Louis offers three types of exchange programme:

• the ERASMUS programme with other EU universities
• the ERASMUS Belgica programme with Dutch-language universities in Belgium
• Bilateral exchange agreements with universities OUTSIDE of Europe.

As a student enrolled on the French and Romance Languages and Letters programme you may take part in an ERASMUS exchange during the first term of the third year of your BA.

Please note that the academic content of the exchange has an credit value of approximately 30.

Grants for language study visits

You may also apply for a grant to support the costs of a language study visit to another European country during the summer holiday period.

Current destinations include Spain and Italy. The award of a grant is made on the basis of the quality of your application and in particular the reasons motivating you. The value of the grant varies and may cover up to half of the overall cost of your visit, including essential travel costs.
