2013 - 2014 Programme

Group Project

The multidisciplinary workshop takes place throughout all of the third year and is worth 6 credits. It is a workshop of some importance in terms of required involvement and skills exercised.

It aims to confront the student with problem-situations before which he must implement an operational approach that mobilises the knowledge acquired through the training he has received so far.

The primary material is found through documentary research and data collection (interviews, observations...) carried out by students in small groups (4 to 12). The final work lies in the scientific analysis of an issue that arises in society, produced with a specific audience in mind, actual or potential, for which the analysis should be a resource. It takes the form of an analytical paper or a press file and a computer-assisted presentation, followed by a discussion before a panel of professionals whose evaluation is taken into account in part for the final mark.

Each year, the research themes are reviewed in light of current events and research projects planned or underway within the research units most directly related to the programmes of the Political Science courses (Center for political science research (CReSPo), Centre for Sociological Studies (CES), Research Pole On Communication And Medias (PReCoM)).
