'Independent student' : registration procedure
At Saint-Louis you may enrol as an ‘independent student’. You may enrol on up to some courses.
Please note that after filling in the application form (available on this webpage during the periode of enrolment, see below), you must obtain authorisation from the faculty that is responsible for each course.
To apply for registration as a free student for individual teaching units, candidates must submit the application form for registration as a free student, which is available on this web page during the registration periods, to the relevant faculty administration.
Your registration will be effective following the submission of your completed application form and receipt of your fee payment.
It is worth bearing in mind that being an independent student does not confer the official status of ‘student’, which means that you will not be eligible for benefits such as a student card, financial support, or student visa, etc.
The university will provide you with a certificate of results, indicating the grades you obtain, but cannot award you any credits for the courses you follow, nor can any results obtained be counted in any programme you may wish to follow subsequently.
Period of registration for the academic year 2022-2023:
First term courses: from 16 August to 30 September 2022.
Second term courses: from 15 January to 17 February 2023.
