What types of documents can I request and where can I apply?

Certificate of registration, certificate for public transport, student card, ...

The following official certificates are available online (via the student's intranet, Registration file, Certificates and student card section), when your registration is effective (deposit paid and complete file) :

Certificate of registration

Certificate valid only for child benefit (to be attached to the document sent by child benefit)

Certificate for public transport (discounts available from public transport companies)

Certifcate indebtednesst to enrol in another establishment of the French Community in a subsequent year

Most of the time, it is not necessary to obtain original, hand-signed versions of this type of certificate, but if you really need them, please go to the Registration Office during office hours or to the Reception (43, boulevard du Jardin botanique) where you can obtain them for a fee of 2€ per certificate via Bancontact only.

The student card will be sent by post 3 weeks after the closing date of the registration (payment of the due registration fees and complete registration file), and at the earliest on the day of the beginning of the academic year. In case of loss, you will be able to obtain a duplicate at the Registration Office during office hours, against payment of 10€ by Bancontact only.

Where to retrieve your documents?

The documents can be collected from your faculty administration on presentation of your identity card.

If a third party comes to collect the documents, they must be in possession of a power of attorney and a copy of your identity card.
