Learning outcomes : The aim is to initiate the students to the issues relating to the theory of reference such as they arise within the contemporary philosophy dimension.
Prerequisites : None
Course contents : Kant is not only the gravedigger of traditional metaphysics, he is also the one that revolutionised its meaning. What are the fundamental problems of metaphysics in a post-Kantian horizon? With this question as backdrop, the course aims to present the main stages of the constructivist philosophy that lead to Quine's conception of ontology.
