FILO1210 - Philosophical anthropology

Learning outcomes : Understand the philosophical stakes of trying to define the human. The course aims to deepen philosophical knowledge starting from a specific field of philosophy.
Prerequisites : The students should have followed or follow at the same time a course of general philosophy.
Course contents : Definition of the anthropological difference starting from the study of prominent philosophies of the imagination of the second half of the 20th century (among others, the thoughts of Gaston Bachelard and Cornelius Castoriadis).
Mode of delivery : The course is an ordinary lecture but leaves plenty of room for questions and answers.
Assessment methods and criteria : Oral examination.
