Why is it compulsory to take a French language proficiency test before embarking on a 1st cycle programme of study?

The programs offered* by the Université Saint-Louis in Brussels are composed at least 80% of courses given in French.

* except for the Bachelor of Science in Business Engineering.

French language tuition

With a view to improving their French, international students may include a French language course in their programme, which is taught at the Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles.

There is no preparatory year for the purposes of learning French, the language course offered is followed during the academic year in parallel with the standard programme of study.
