Learning outcomes :
This seminar is the first concrete teaching of a complete research in contemporary history from the issues and research of the archives to the oral and written presentation of the results. It is conceived in order to prepare the students for the advanced level seminars in third year.

Course contents :
The professor in charge of the seminar will define its topic and propose a theme related to his research, guiding the students through printed and archive sources.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
The seminar is designed as a series of common work sessions
Assessment methods and criteria :
Continuous assessment based on the students' participation during the seminar. But much importance will also be given to the work handed out at the end of the year.
