Educational effectiveness is ensured by the complementary nature of several teaching methods: lectures - accompanied by discussions that highlight the participants’ previous experience and professional background, group exercises, individual assignments and academic support classes.
The teaching methods take into consideration the need to optimise the limited time adult students have to devote to such studies in addition to their professional and/or family life.
Regarding the assessment methods, they usually take the form of a written or an oral examination. Exams do not only verify the knowledge of the course material but also test the ability of the student to master and to apply it. In addition, the seminar, chosen by the student from the three offered, includes the writing of a final dissertation.
