The objective of the course is to give students a thorough knowledge of the rules of the “bon usage” and at the same time introduce them to the critical analysis of normative discourse:
1. Strong command of the metalanguage of grammar 2. The morphosyntactic analysis of contemporary written French 3. Initiation to the critical analysis of normative discourse

The French morphosyntactic reference system with analysis of examples.
