Learning outcomes :
The course aims to introduce the student to the analysis of the functioning and regulation of markets under imperfect competition. To this end, it develops the main models of oligopolistic competition with a focus on asymmetric information. It places these models in the context of European industrial organization issues, particularly in relation to competition law. The student will be confronted with practical cases developed by external speakers and must be able to assimilate the information presented, synthesize it and relate it to the notions developed during the course.

a) The lecture
The lecture consists of a presentation of the concepts, models and mechanisms, and of the concrete cases tackled by the institutions in charge of competition policy.

b) External stakeholders
External stakeholders come from public institutions, universities and private companies. They will present topics related to the course and their experience.
