Course contents :
The course starts with a historical overview of economic theories and doctrines, emphasising the link between proposed economic policies and the underlying values of these theories.

The study of these fundamental concepts is then organised around two axes: a horizontal axis and a vertical axis. The horizontal axis distinguishes the three objects of economic policies: the goods and services market, the labour market and the capital market. The vertical axis distinguishes the regulation tools (public services, taxation, regulations…) of the different levels of power responsible for economic policies: national level, European level and global level.

Then, the analysis will focus on the main issues related to current economic upheavals, such as economic globalisation, technological progress, the changes in health systems, the growing inequalities or the future of the pensions.
