Bachelor’s degrees (BA): application procedures
Whether applying to the university for the first time or reapplying after at least one year away from study, the first step for all students is to fill in the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM.
If you are a national of a European member state or if you are resident in Belgium, the deadline for applications is 30 September 2019.
In order to begin your studies with peace of mind we strongly recommend that you submit your application by 30 August 2019 at the latest.
If you are a national of a non-European country and if you do not reside in Belgium, you will need to obtain a study visa to be able to study in Belgium. A study visa may be obtained from the Belgian Embassy in your country of residence after you have received authorisation from our University.
Please note that the procedures for admissions and visa applications may take between 3 to 6 months. It is therefore important to make your application to the university as early as February 2019 and no later than 30 April 2019.
You will receive a second personalised message following the confirmation of receipt of your application. This will explain the next steps in the procedure (the email message generally lists the documents to provide, their format, deadlines and how to submit them). You should receive this email within a few days of submitting the application form. If you have still not received this email after one week, you should contact the Admissions Office.
