2018 - 2019 Programme

Group Project

The mutlidisciplinary workshop is spread through the whole academic year and is worth 5 credits.

The mutlidisciplinary workshop aims at exposing the student to real-life issues. In adressing them, the student must rely on an operational approach that mobilises that learrning outcomes of the program.

Students, within small groups, collect information through interviews and field observations. This information forms the core material of the documentary research. The final outocme is an analytical report which analyzes a societal question and is designed to be a resource for those decidors, real or virtual, who have to implement solutions. In addition to hte written report, the group of students have to present the analysis (typically with a powerpoint type support) in front of a jury made of specialists or stakeholders.

The topics retained for the workshop change every year according to the current issues and the research projects undertaken in the research centers affilited to the POLS curricula.
