LEUSL2800 - Final assignment

Language of instruction :
The final assignment is written in French. It can also be written in English with the agreement of the promoteur of the final assignment.

Learning outcomes :
Through the final assignment, the student must demonstrate his/her own ability to define a relevant question on the European integration and to process it while meeting the requirements of an academic work in the discipline(s) of the program. Focused on a specific topic, the work cannot be a general summary or a large overview.

Course contents :
The final assignment is a text of about 50,000 characters (without spaces) or twenty pages (2500 characters per page), written in the style required by the scientific communication (explanation of the purpose and methodological approach, coherent plan, precise definition of the concepts, comprehensive and properly presented bibliography, properly identified sources, clear and neat writing).

Written assignment.

Procedure:

1) As of March 1st, each student must have submitted a form to the Secretariat that includes the title of the final assignment, a concise statement of the project and the agreement of the tenured teacher who decided to follow the final assignment. Formal agreement of the tenured teacher of the project is mandatory.

2) Production of the final assignment under the supervision of the director. It is recommended that students ask their director a minimum of three meetings.

3) The final assignment must be submitted in two copies to the Secretary no later than May 22.

4) If the final assignment is presented during the second session, it should be submitted in two copies to the Secretary no later than August 16.

Compliance with this procedure determines the admissibility of your final assignment.
